aquanex® USB3500 : Waterproof Micro USB Connector
As part of an exciting new product line from GCT, the aquanex waterproof range brings together high performance USB connectors with excellent IP rated sealing.
The first connector launched from the aquanex range, the USB3500, is a horizontal mid-plane mounted micro USB connector sealed to IP67. The body shell is made from a one piece stainless steel construction for added integrity using an innovative metal injection moulding manufacturing process, then plated in nickel.

SIM8055 is the exciting new nano (4FF) SIM card connector from GCT. For equipment manufacturers requiring a compact solution to save on valuable PCB space, the SIM8055 is ideal as it also incorporates a card detect switch into the design without adding bulk to the connector, taking up just 118mm² of PCB real estate.
Using an innovative split contact design, the normally open card detect mechanism shares the space with contact 5. The circuit is closed once a nano SIM card is inserted.
SIM8055 comes with a locating peg as standard for PCB stability, and is packaged in a tape and reel format, enabling easy pick and place assembly.
