A further 4 new large sizes in 24 configurations added to our IP68 1554 and 1555 families
Hammond have added a further four sizes with 24 configurations to their popular 1554 and 1555 series of sealed enclosures, available in ABS or polycarbonate with styled, opaque, clear or smoked lids.
The polycarbonate versions have cUL and UL 508A listing (File # E65324), and are tested to IP68 (NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13). The ABS versions have not been tested by cUL or UL and are designed to meet IP66.
All versions have a RAL 7035 light grey (RAL7035) base. The ABS units are available with a plain or styled opaque grey lid. The polycarbonate ones are available with a plain or styled opaque lid, a clear lid or a smoked lid.

- X: 300 x 200 x 90 mm
- XA: 300 x 200 x 120 mm
- Y: 300 x 240 x 95 mm
- YA: 300 x 240 x 120 mm

RZ Series : Water-Tight ABS & Polycarbonate Enclosures
The range consists of an initial 10 sizes from 52 x 50 x 35 to 222 x 146 x 75 mm, additional sizes will be added as the range is expanded.

- Captive stainless steel fixings into stainless steel inserts

1555F Watertight, Flanged Lid Series
The family consists of a total of 20 configurations, 10 in ABS (IP66) and 10 in polycarbonate (IP68)
Key 1555F product attributes
ABS versions have a flammability rating of UL94-HB for indoor use- Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use with a UL94-5VA rating
- Designed for wall mounting. The interior is secure as lid screws are concealed
- PCB standoffs in the lid and base
- Lid is secured with self-captivated M4 stainless steel machine screws, threaded into integral stainless steel bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly
- Internal features vary with size:
Internal DIN rail mounting tabs
Standoffs for PCB or inner panel mounting
