New Slimline reduced height IP68 sealed 1554 and 1555
To meet the needs for shallow enclosures, Hammong Mfg have introduced three new versions based on some of the fast-moving sizes in the ranges. Each plan size is available in ABS with plain and styled lids and polycarbonate with plain, styled, clear and smoked lids, so they have added a total of 18 new options.

- 1554 and 1555 JL: 160 x 89 x 46 high, 15 mm less than the previous lowest height
- 1554 and 1555 HL: 180 x 119 x 46 high, 15 mm less than the previous lowest height
- 1554 and 1555 VA: 239 x 160 x 60 high, 19 mm less than the previous lowest height
- IP66 ABS versions available with flat or styled solid lids
- IP68 UL 508A Listed polycarbonate versions available with flat or styled solid lids, clear lids and smoked translucent lids
- Captive stainless steel fixings
- ABS versions for indoor use rated UL94-HB flammability
- Polycarbonate versions for indoor and outdoor use rated UL94-5VA flammability
- Polycarbonate versions are UV stable
- Moulded DIN rail mounting tabs
- M3 threaded integral brass inserts and/or standoffs for PCB or inner panel mounting
- Replaceable UL listed high temperature silicone one-piece gasket
- Body and solid lids are RAL 7035 light grey

New IP68 / IP66 1557 Series Sealed Wall Mount/Desktop Plastic Enclosures
The 1557 is initially available in four plan sizes, each with two heights, in both polycarbonate, sealed to IP68, and ABS, designed to meet IP66. All versions are available in black and RAL 7035 grey.
Rounded corners and top face provide a modern smooth style combined with environmental sealing. The 1557 can be used as a desktop enclosure when fitted with the optional supplied feet or it is designed to be wall mounted with either four visible mounts or two hidden mounts.
The new sizes are 80 x 80 x 45 and 60 mm; 120 x 120, 160 x 160 and 200 x 200 in heights of 45 and 70 mm.

Key 1554/1555 product attributes
ABS versions have a flammability rating of UL94-HB for indoor use.- Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use. The grey material has a UL94-5VA rating, clear and smoked lids UL94V-0.
- Lid is secured with self-captivated M4 stainless steel machine screws, threaded into integral stainless steel bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly.
- The new sizes for the 1554 and 1555 :
- L: 105 x 105 x 60. LA: 105 x 105 x 90
- Q: 140 x 140 x 60. QA: 140 x 140 x 90
- W: 180 x 180 x 60. WA 180 x 180 x 90
- Internal features vary with size:
- Internal DIN rail mounting tabs moulded into most models
- M3 threaded brass inserts and/or standoffs for PCB or inner panel mounting in all but the smallest B size.
- Vertical PCB guides in all but the smallest B size.
